Intel Guy
From what I can tell, the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility

Windows 98.
There doesn't seem to be any other version between that one and
version 7.x.x.
(why does the readme say "NOTE: For the list of supported...

Someone told me that if the two PCs use the same graphic card, games will
run slower on my new system because (1) games ignore the 2nd core and (2)
thus game will be powered...

Urgent: Antec P180B Case by
Fidelis K
I've bought an Antec P180B to build a Core 2 Duo/Bad Axe system. According
to the manual, two tool boxes should have come with the case. Mine came with
only one (it was inside the lower HD bay).
What I have is:
1. Rails for 5.25 & 3.25 drives.
2. Top fan spoiler
3. A few brass standoffs and...

on board raid controller by

Hello,
I have been buying servers with Adaptec and LSI RAID cards for years.
These are real RAID cards, no use of the host CPU, great preformance,
etc. I need to build a server that supports mirroring. My
Pointy-Haired Boss doesn't want to spend the money on a real server.
He wants me to buy a...

Bad Axe PCI-e Power Connector by
Fidelis K
My Intel Bad Axe motherboard has an onboard 12v 1x4 PCI-e power connector,
which powers PCI-e cards. I, of course, connected a power cable to it. Now,
my X1900GT card has a 2x3 PCI-e power connector. Should I also connect a
power cable to it???
