To answer my own question I've used them and they were first rate,

Need NW London Vendor with Support by
leonard matherson
Hello,
I am going to buy a PC for a newbie newbie - he hasn't even touched a
computer keyboard! I will set up the PC and instruct him on using
internet, but I cannot supply ongoing support. I need a retailer /
vendor who is willing to give on-site support for hardware (and
possibly software)...

Dabs Never Again!! by
text news
That's it.... I have had enough.... it is just not worth the bother.
I have dealt with Dabs for years. It has sometimes been a bit of a rough
ride but I am very tolerant and they are easy to buy from.
Once before I swore never to deal with them again but they were
"re-locating" so I weakened and...

When I'm looking around at DABS, I usually try and do it early AM

Are there any UK retailers who still produce a free...

A short ebuyer tale... by
Rudi Cheow
Hey folks,
In the interest of balance I just thought I'd come on here and say
that on Thursday I placed an order with ebuyer for about 17 different
items, with a combined value of about £1100. I asked for Saturday
delivery.
All the items turned up on Saturday morning, complete, intact, brand
new...

Scan's new delivery charges. (Affecting non-mainland UK) by
Robert Stringer
Just off the phone with 2 of Scan's finest after being on hold for 10
minutes.
I hadn't received any updates on my order since I placed it on Saturday. I
was then told that Citylink has changed delivery prices to Northern Ireland.
From £7 to £15. You won't be told that when you place your order,...

DABS - watch out if you're VAT registered! by
Mark Robinson
When you buy from DABS, they offset 2.5% of your order value as a
credit card handling fee. This is a well known VAT loophole that
allows DABS to keep 2.5% of the VAT that you pay.
Buying as a consumer this makes no real difference, but DABS apply the
same surcharge *even to VAT registered...
