Semi-gloss paper by Ron Stewart
Don, Epson makes a semi-gloss paper called Premium Semigloss Photo Paper. I buy it at the local photo supply store. I get it in 8.5X11 and 13X19 and I use it in my HP1220C deskjet. I really like it and have printed many large photos with it. You can buy it on Epsons web site www.epson.com Ron "Don...

Brother HL-1440 Laser Printer Question by CLW
Hi, I'm looking to purchase an inexpensive laser printer for home use. I'd like to stay under $200 if possible, although I suppose I could go up to $250. The Brother seems to be a pretty decent choice, and adding more memory isn't too expensive. I'm wondering if it will print postscript though. I...

Photo Printers by Jerry Schwartz
The HP 7550 uses 7-ink cartridges. That better? HP's web site says it gives you 7-ink printing. I guess I had it confused with the Epson, which uses a "light black" ink. -- Jerry Schwartz FidoNet 1:142/928 http://www.writebynight.com

I've just bought an old QMS-860 Print System. When I turn on power, only the LED for the selected paper-tray is on. The display's first line is full off "boxes", the second line is empty. When pressing the "Test Print" button on the back, a nice page with lines is printed. The printer does not...

Seeking recommendation for good printer: documents & photos by Jack
I recently purchased a Canon i850 printer. It's the fastest printer I have ever had and both text and photos are of excellent quality. I paid $135 on line including shipping. It is far superior to the HP's I had in the past. I feel that four colors are adequate for good photo results unless you...

I've had it with epson but for a different reason...all the hp printers I've gotten keep having paper jams or keeps "eating" the papers more than one at a time.
