Science on the Cutting Edge by RAP
In April, noted surgeon Sir Magdi Yacoub and a team at Ormond Hospital in London re-started the original heart of a 12-year-old girl after it had lain dormant in her body for 10 years while she lived with a donated heart. Because the donated heart was finally showing signs of rejection, Dr. Yacoub...

AX8 SATA drives not seen by Pete
I'm setting up a AX8 mobo with a 3200 AMD 64 CPU. During booting up WinXP , it doesn't detect any SATA drives. I looked in the bios and I didn't see where it detects sata drives? I just built a ASrock dual mobo and it detected the same WD 250gig while booting from winXP with no problems. I'm sure...

ARIA TECHNOLOGY - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH by Bill
Aria Technologies prices may be cheaper than many retailers, but buyers should be aware that Aria are absolutely rubbish to deal with. To date I have had 3 bad monitors from them, all of them had to be returned due to seriously defective pixels, and I'm not talking about just a couple of bad...

I am still happily living with a VP6 and AGP4x. Thinking of upgrading, but I am waiting for a mobo that has dual sockets for either dual-core or, gulp, quad-core CPUs, and support for nVidia Quad SLI. Am I dreaming? -Hlafordlaes
