SE440BX-2 motherboard by
Ned
I have a SE440BX-2 motherboard. I populated it with 64 MB of RAM and wish
to upgrade the memory. The CD manual that came with the board says that it
will accommodate 384 MB max and the largest DIMM capacity is 128 MB.
However, the Intel website says the maximum memory size for this board is...

Hi,
What benchmarking utilities would give me a good overview of my computers

configuration?
My system is as follows:

Addressing modes by
Daniel Huw Bellringer
I was wondering if anyone could clear up, a very simple issue for me. How
are the various segment registers applicable in 32-bit (i.e. non 16-bit)
code? Do the addresses simply get translated into 32 bit values and then
used as a immediate 32 bit value ? Thanks for any information.

I'm hoping to upgrade the cpu on a low end system that I have. I want to
avoid replacing the mother board if possible.
The system currently has a celeron 433 (socket 370) running on a slot 1
mother board viva an adaptor.
The mother board is an Abit be6 with a 100 mhz bus.
I'm confused about...

3.2 GHz HT system now suddenly 1.6 GHz on boot-up? Fried processor? by
John Here
Before I approach Intel support, I wonder if anyone here has any
ideas. This morning, on boot up, my 3.2 GHz HT PC ran noticeably
slower.
Using SciSoft Sandra, I did a benchmark, and noticed that it said my
PC was a 1.6 GHz system, and not 3.2 - weird?
So I booted up and sure enough; on boot-up...

D875PBZ - BIOS P12. Anyone having problems? by

No problems at all with any BIOS up to P09. I installed P12 last night, and
now I am frequented with "BAD POOL CALLER" stop screens upon trying to boot
WinXP. I have to reboot once or twice to get into XP.
This system has been crash proof since I put it together about 4 months ago.
The only thing...

have it (some of these have been asked in one form or another, but not
yet completely answered that I can find):
(1) The manual (pg 104) lets you select...
