upgrade p5-133 by
Forgive my ignorance. The computer was a gift. Should I be able to add memory (64MB existing) and how can I attach a film scanner? Must I avoid USB? What do USB and SCSI signify, not stand for, anyway? Thankyou for your attention.

Laptop Memory by
I have the model 450 sx4 and have 256mb or RAM.......I wanted to upgrade to make things run better. What is the maximum size chip that I can install on the laptop? Memory intensive programs really slow my computer down. Will just another 256mb of ram be sufficient? Thanks, Russ

Identifying SN & parts #'s for Gateway computers by .

I have been using Norton SpeedDisk v6.03.36a to defragment my HD for some time now and have been mostly satisfied with it. Taking the suggestion to give Executive Software Diskeeper v9.0.515 a try for fragmenting my HD, I installed it for a test run. I found out that both Norton SpeedDisk and...

Hi all.., I'm trying to burn some music I downloaded from Napster to either DVD+R's or DVD-RW's using Nero 6 on my Gateway 9300 Pro through it's internal DVD/CD ROM. It plays movies and DC's great, but do ALL DVD/CD ROM's have the ability to write or burn also? If not.., what to do?
