2200+ cheaper than 2100+ ? by
Harkin Banks
I believe the 2200+ is a T'Bred A and the 2100+ is a T'Bred B?

I've notice Pricewatch has 2200+ priced less than the 2100+. Both are
t-breds. Why is this?

Did I make a mistake? by
Ransack The Elder
Ordered a new processor today, I ordered the XP 2600+. Should I have gotten
the Barton 2500 instead? I went with clock speed over cache, both are the
same price. Would the slower Barton's extra cache be better for video
capturing/editing?

Best Motherboard for Athlon XP + PC133 SDRAM by
Brad
Biostar M7VIW or similar model, based on KT266A. Accepts both PC133 and
PC2100, so you can upgrade RAM when you are ready. Super stable board,
supports Athlon XP of course, overclockable by adjusting FSB in BIOS. Very
affordable -- great buy I'd say.

Should I RMA my new MSI K7N2 Delta L mainboard? by
No Data Sent
At first I thought it was my power supply that was the problem. But
after installing a new 500 watt power supply I still have the same
problem. Even with every thing else set to default settings I can't
get my system to post with the vcore set above 1.725. at 1.75 it's a
no go. With the vcore set...

EPOX 8RDA+ and unlocked cpu ?? by
Patrick
Well everyone here keeps saying that the Bartons and Thoroughbreds are
unlocked but mine (as with someone else here that posted) is locked to 12.5,
can go lower but not higher, 13 resets the cpu to a default underclocked
speed. Is this normal? It does not affect me too much as FSB is more
important...

I've always gone to the physical returns counter and spoken to a human

Just like you have it 13x166. Multipler times FSB clock speed =cpu clock

Firewire bracket header thingy...? by

Hey peeps, don't suppose anyone can suggest somewhere I can get a firewire
bracket for my ASUS A7N8X deluxe mobo?? I didn't get one in the box with my
mobo (another good job Ebuyer!) so I'm kinda on the lookout for one. Cheers,
Dave.

Has anyone ever seen or used anything like this:

Would this be any better than a stndard air cooled HSF?
Is it even suitable for cooling a processor?
Sorry if I sound dumb, but ive never seen anything like this before!

Athlon cooling fan by
Paul Greer
You can get fans all over. PCWorld might stock them. I know Maplins do. If
you can't find a 60x60x10, I find that an 80x80x25 fan and a small amount of
duck tape does the trick :-)
