Are the nforce2 Ultra 400 boards worth touching? by +c0re-
from what I've gathered reading up on this today, they are mostly a revised version of the nforce2 SPP boards just with the new chipset on. Are these worth touching yet or would it be wise to let the platform mature a bit instead of buying one of the first boards? any advice appreciated :) thanks

Problem Solved by Gary Young
I replaced my Leadtek K7NCR18 with an Epox 8KRA+ and my 2500+ Barton works with all three brands of memory I have tried in it. The Leadtek is great with the 133/266 2100+ Palomino so I will keep it to run that processor in a second machine.

Arctic Silver or Arctic Alumina? by Ransack The Elder
Any thoughts on them? Is Alumina as good as Silver? I have some of each I can use, but the Silver is about a year old while I just got the Alumina the other day so it's fresher. I'm thinking go Alumina mainly because it's newer unless there's a good reason not to.
