How much can I overclock my Athlon XP 2400+ 2GHz 266MHz FSB CPU with the retail heatsink and without making a big jump in temperatures? I have it OC'd to 2.2GHz now, but it's on the multiplier that I upped, and that doesn't make much of a difference in performance from what I'm seeing.

I have an AMD Athlon 3000+ CPU and would like to overclock it. I have never done this before so can someone tell me what changes I need to make in my BIOS? And will I notice any difference in performance?
