Need Part for Intel OEM Cooling Fan Retainer by
Bubba
Hi all,
Had a PS failure on my Asus P4C800 system and whilst changing it, I
inadvertantly cracked one of the two white levers which hold the CPU cooling
fan and heatsink down onto the retention bracket. The plastic looks
yellowed and brittle. All I need is the black plastic part with the two...

New Theory: Chieftec case airflow design flawed !? by
Skybuck Flying
Hello,
According to intel and amd the airflow inside a case is supposed to go from
the front of the case to the back of the case and out the back of the case.
The airflow is supposed to go past the components.
Also the case could be seen as a "air/wind" tunnel.
The problem with the chieftec...

How to test a power supply ? by
Skybuck
Hello,
Some have suggested to buy a voltmeter and then test the power supply.
Since computers have special plugs and such, how would one go about
testing the power supply ?
Are there special plugs necessary ?
(Not that I would ever try it, way to dangerous !)

_DG
I've got a couple P4T/P4T-E systems that do not respond to a USB
keyboard until XP boots up. Pressing DEL during BIOS init will not
work, of course (though I can do that by plugging in a PS2 keyboard).
And since they are dual boot systems, the prompt for which OS just
stays onscreen until it times...

Baffling problem with Asus M2N32-SLI based machine by
alisonnic
I have a baffling problem with a computer I built about six months
ago, based around an Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard.
After a series of problems (see history, below), this computer ran
fine for several weeks. Then, a couple of days ago, after several
hours of heavy use, when I exited a game,...
