AMD64x2 speed v.s. DDR2 memory speed? by
Joe101[_2_]
Can someone explain 64x2 processor and memory speed combinations. Is it
correct to assume any 64x2 processor speed will work with any memory speed
except at possibly reduced efficiency? What are the max processor speeds
what till run with each of the following DDR-800, DDR-667, and DDR -533?
I...

Transformers the movie: "Did you hear that ? " =D by
Skybuck Flying
I LOVE THAT PART =D
The general(?) says:
"The base in blabla was attacked and the only real lead we have is this
sound..."
He kinda looks funny when pointing towards it... like he doesn't believe
anybody can figure anything out from it...

Mastertone
Using Probe2 on my A8N-SLI Deluxe to check my temperatures, it uses as
much as 99% of my CPU and raises the temp 10 degree (F). Is there
something else I can use to check temp's other than this resource hog?
Thx!

Anyone know: 4x/8x AGP card with original P4PE? by
[email protected]
I'm considering upgrading the GPU in this box. I've seen a few ATI
X1650Pro's at decent price considering the memory (512 DDR2). They are
4/8 AGP's. Wondering if anyone knows if I would encounter a problem
between the card and the mother board ?
This is one of the first P4PE's, purchased back in...

goo_lu
I'm planning to build a DIY PC based on Core 2 Duo CPU and I'm
studying the two ASUS & GIGABYTE motherboards mentiond in title.
Besides difference in chipset used, maximum memory support, USB port &
PCI slot counts, how these motherboards differ in audio performance ?
GA-965P-DS4's manual said it...

PK5 deluxe question by

This may be a silly question!
Apologies if so
The PK5 deluxe manual chapter 2 page 28 seems to me to be a
contradiction.
" You must install Windows XP service pack 1 before using Serial ATA
hard disk drives"
How can tou install a service pack to use SATA drives if you cant
install XP to start...

M2N SLI Deluxe odd USB problem by
John
I put this system together 2 weeks ago and it's been running fine as a
"spare" system and today I moved it over to become my main system.
All was well until I started connecting USB devices.
I have an HP printer, and an APC UPS that both connect via USB (the
UPS to allow the system to monitor it.)...

P5B Plus Q6600 only uses one core by
Jim Krol
I just set up a new system using the P5B Plus and a q6600 processor. It
appears that it is only using one of the cores on the processor. Windows
task manager only shows one window. The system runs slower than the old
2.6G processor it was supposed to replace. Is the processor bad or did I do...

Which RAM and board/chipset should I use with an E6600 processor? by
ridergroov
1. I'm getting ready to build my new system with an E6600 Core 2 duo
in it. I know before with the P4s I knew that an 800mhz FSB CPU used
400Mhz but I don't know the matches for the core 2s and the new PC2
ram. If someone could help me out with that, that would be great.
2. What is the best...
