info-tech systems by
jefft
I'm obviously too late to warn off a group member who queried the
performance of infotech shop / info-tech systems in September but it is
worth having a note in the archive.
I purchased some relatively inexpensive items from them totalling only
£25. When a component (a transformer) failed within a...

Does anyone know where I can get a small, USB powered ethernet hub
from? I'm sick of turnign up in meetings where there aren't enough
network points. I know they exist, but I can't find anyone actually
selling them, and googling/looking on ebay's tricky as it just turns up

Parcel Force RTS.... by
mo
Hi,
I sent a TFT monitor back today. It was sent by Komplett via Parcel Force.
Stupidly, instead of sending it in proper packaging, they put a huge PF
stick on the actual box for the monitor.
I printed out their RMA form, but I didn't print my own address label as I
thought that PF might do their...

Star Computer Services Ltd - Spam? by
Niel Humphreys
I seem to have somehow 'opted in' to their email database, has anyone else
received a spam email from them recently or know anything about this lot?
They are obviously unaware that spamming is illegal in the UK which says a
lot for their professional conduct and industry awareness.

eXpansys? by
Paul
Anyone had any good or bad customer service from eXpansys?
They've had my faulty (one day old) PDA for over a week, without any hint of
when I might expect a repair or replacement, and I'm starting to get
nervous.
I accept that a week isn't long, so perhaps I should simply be more...

Ebuyer's enotes by
jonny
Is it worth me waiting to get a reply from an enote? I ordered some
goods off them, including 2 optical mice that they charged me for,
but never delivered. I sent them an enote telling them of this, they
auto-emailed me to say that enotes are currently taking 1 week to be
answered, that was...

[OT] Seeking handheld photcopier by
Joe Smith
I am sure I used to see adverts for a handheld photocopying tool.
You rolled it across the page and it was about four or five inches
across.
I want to go back and then connect the device to a PC for printing.
However it is not connected to a PC at the time of scanning.
Has anyone seen one of...

Never buy from PC World by
Adam
Hi Everyone
I thought I should warn about the total lack of respect for customers'
statutory rights that seems to exist at PC World. I bought a KVM switch from
them a few weeks ago, and it worked fine at first, so I didn't bother
keeping the receipt. However, earlier today, it stopped working, so...

OT- Faulty goods/warranty claim by
David Harvey
sorry for the off topic, but I know many on here are aware of consumer laws.
About 6 weeks ago we purchased a combined dvd/video from comet(nearest store
130 miles from here).
For the first few weeks we only used the dvd, which worked fine, then upon
trying the video part we discovered it was...

Are TFT prices going up? by
[email protected]
I've been sort of half looking for a 17" TFT for a while, or even two.
A couple of months ago prices were nudging the £100 mark with several
around the £110 area.
I've just looked again and there doesn't seem to be anything down at
that price level. Am I looking in the wrong places or have...

it was faulty, they agreed to send me a replacement.
Today my 'new' router was delivered and it's not a new one at all!

Hi,
Has anyone had any dealings with the company in the subject line?
Their web site is http://www.ebytesupport.co.uk/ and advertise in the
local Yellow Pages
They collected my wife's faulty laptop on 21 September 2005 and took
it away for repair. We had a call a few days later saying that...
