I have an HP Color LaserJet 4500 printer that randomly prints 100 pages or more of weird symbols and basic jibberish on the top of the page. Usually it is only one line per page. I have tried to see which applications cause it, but I cannot find a pattern. Any suggestions? Thanks!

How fast, and with what resolution do you need? If 12 ppm@600 dpi will do it for ya; you could do worse than to pick up a HP LaserJet 4+ on E-Bay. I have one at home, get one with the JetDirect card and just plug it in to the switch and away you go. These are reliable printers built like tanks....
