427Cobraman

like to use on our laptop (automotive diagnostics business) and was
wondering if there is some way possible to make this work. I found a
company that has a ISA...

Gaming Machine: Hardware Profile by
456
Instead of disabling HW and stopping services, let's say for gaming,
create a Hardware Profile.
Right click on My Computer - select Properties. Select Hardware Tab,
then click Hardware Profiles.

Laptop NO POWER, What's wrong??? by
[email protected]
I have a Dell Inspiron. It
was processing info,
My foot hooked on the cord,
pulled the laptop off of the shelf,
I caught it mid-air upside down and
the lid closed. Didn't seem like any
damage would be done but wouldn't
turn on.
NO POWER whatsoever. NO led lights,

500 gb hard drives -cheap! by
4phun
Has anyone noticed that CompUSA has 500 GB drives for a reasonable
price in today's paper? They say it is an exclusive. Why buy a 300 gb
drive when you can make that a 500 GB upgrade for the same price?

Simple Hardware Clock question by
[email protected]
Ok, so I just read that the clock synchronizes other hardware
components of a computer szystem; meaning that, because the processor
is faster than the RAM for instance, or the hard-disk, the next CPU
instruction is delayed till the next clock tick, in order to ensure
that each component completes...

Rebate for the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo by
[email protected]
Hello,
I need two UPC codes cut from the box of a Logitech Cordless Elite
Duo. The reason I need them is to redeem a rebate from Logitech. I
ordered mine from justdeals.com and they just sent them in plain brown
boxes, so there wasn't a UPC code to cut from the box. I will pay
$5.00 for each...

How to avoid motherboard with bad caps? Go with Albatron? by
75475,451
This may be old news to many of you.
In considering a new motherboard, I remembered an article I stumbled
upon a few days ago talking about bad capacitors in motherboards
manufactured in the last two years. I just Googled the topic and found
some scary information. I have built three computers...

HELP!! Graphics card problem by
777
Dell Dimension 8200, with two graphics cards driving 3 monitors:
Ti500 driving one DVI LCD (@1600x1200) (AGP)
FX5200 driving one DVI LCD and one non-DVI LCD (PCI)
The Ti500 failed - I think due to a fan failure; something in the Dell was
getting noisy - it stopped getting noisy and then the PC...

Graphics card & LCD monitor died together... by
[email protected]
Talk about a wierd day. My Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card and
NEC Multisync 1810 LCD monitor all failed together. My Speedtouch
router was stopped working but after about an hour of trying different
phone jacks in the house, it inexplicably fixed itself.
Here's the problems - hopefully...
