Question about different Bluray media by
ftran999
I'm planning on adding a BR writer to my PC. I plan is to transfer videos
shot on my DSLR to BD and give out to friends and family. When I look on
Newegg.com I get confused by the different types of BD media BD-R, BD-R DL,
BD-RE, BD-RE DL. So If my goal is to author disks playable on both...

Power Supply recommendation? by
Nil[_3_]
I posted a few weeks ago about an issue with my PC not shutting down
all the way, which turned out to be a partially-fried power supply.
I've been traveling since then, but now I'm ready to shop for a
replacement unit. The old one is a Thermaltake W0101RU ATX 12V 2.0
Version...

Refill Canon PGI-220BK cartridge by
Mint
I went to Walgreens and was told they don't refill ANY Canon print
cartridges.
I wondered if there is some payoff going on. :-)
Can I refill that cartridge and the CLI-221BK by myself ?
Thanks,
Andy

I'm looking for a cheap dual core (or more) bare bones desktop unit
please. I'm not interested in memory or hard drives, just the base unit
with a fitted CPU.

John
Are there any reputable sites that review monitors and rate them? I'd
like to find a place like what Tom's Hardware does.
TIA,

OT Anybody else do Netflix? by
John Doe
Just wondering if anybody knows how to use the fast-forward and
reverse shortcut keys in Microsoft's Silverlight? And whether
anybody might know where a Silverlight software users guide might
be? I actually haven't looked hard, but I doubt there is easy to
find documentation on it.

No more Google Groups posts to UseNet? by
John Doe
How about that. Google Groups has chosen to filter itself out of
UseNet. Unfortunately, apparently they are also continuing to mess
up the UseNet archive. As far as I can tell, the new Google public
UseNet archive display has no showing of the left-hand author pane
(the list of authors on the left...

USB over current status by
Man-wai Chang
Is it likely for a voltage/current regulator on a motherboard to report
a false over-current status?
I am suspecting that my older motherboard Asus M3N78-PRO was exactly
reporting the wrong over-current status... :)
