Does anyone know of a WebSite that describes in detail the steps required to build a Pentium 4 PC. Hopefully one that has photos and detailed decsriptions of the steps required. Thanks.

Kanguru PC Clone or Acrnis TrueImage by Larry Dawson
I bought a pc laptop last fall as a second computer to our Macintosh. While I don't use it as my main computer, I am getting a bit concerned if it does crash and need to be rebuilt. At first it wouldn't have been any big deal, but as I use it more, install software, and customize it it would be a...

No audio playing DVD movies by Dave Hardenbrook
I have finished building my current system, and everything is in working order... Except I can't get audio when playing DVD movies in the DVD drive. All other audio works fine -- I can play audio CD's, Mp3's, AVI and MPEG files with sound, etc., and video on DVD movies is fine, but no audio. Any...

power supply question (newbie) by Gabriel
Hello, I built a system using this barebone http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16856110044 and would like to upgrade the power supply so I can use a better video card. Must I get a MicroATX PSU or would a standard ATX PSU work? TIA

Very Slow SATA Drives by geronimowww
My PC has difficulty running two or more programs simultaneously. So I run a utility called Dr. Hardware, and it shows my IDE HDD having a Read DTR of 45875 KB/s. But both my SATA HDDs show a DTR of only 2690 and 2695 KB/s. How do I optimize my Serial HDDs? Are there any settings I should tinker...

Video Card Fan by ÐïÅßö¥ø§©
I just replaced the fan on my Radeon 9800 Pro with an Iceberq 4 fan. The original fan blew air away from the card but the new fan seems to be sucking air towards the card. Is this normal? It seems every video card I've ever owned or seen, the fan blew the air away from it not towards it. There...

pc turns off immediately after turning on by Nick
I have a pc with a gigabyte motherboard which has been working ok for the last 2 years. Two days ago, it turned off on its own. Since then, when I press the on switch, it briefly comes on for about 1 second and goes off (lights and fans come on and go off after 1 second). What could be wrong?...

Thermal probs with Sempron 2800+ by [email protected]
Hello, last year I applied a boxed Sempron 2800+ with the original heatsink/fan as recommended by AMD. After a month I discovered that my machine was getting thermal problems when it had to work heavily during night batches. Thermal problems escalated slowly to nearly non-productivity. In the end...
