bus speed question by
ian lincoln
using pc3200 ram. also known as 400mhz or so i thought. have agpx8
graphics card so why does nero report my bus speed as 166?

PC will not POST, Please help. by

Ok here are the specs. of a new PC I just put together, and when I
power up the fans spin, I seemt o get HDD spinning, the light on the
floppy drive stays on, there are no beeps, I can not open The CD
Door, and nothing appears on the monitor:

Strange PC Shut-Off Problem by

shutting off randomly for a few days and then be perfectly fine and

Problem with New System Build by

Just built a new system based around the Intel BOXD945PSNLK Motherboard
using 2GB of PC5400 DDR2 RAM, and an eVGA GeForce 7800 GTX and I cannot
get it to boot at all.
When I hit the power button the power lights and HDD light come on,
Processor fan spins up, PSU fan spins up, Graphics card fan...

Asus A8V doesn't see new serial drive by

I am trying to hook up a new Western Digital 160 Serial SATA drive to a
new Asus AV8 motherboard I just purchased. I hooked up the SATA red
cable to the SATA1 on the motherboard and proper power plug to the

intermittent problems with cooling, if I do any serious
computing...(i.e. Rendering a Video)...I'm not a gamer so I seldom
have that kind of a load on the system, but when I start up something
like Nero Recode to re code some Video files...
