XP64 driver by
Stroppy
Hi,
I downloaded and installed this file "drivers-amd64-041805.zip" to use it
with the trial version of XP64.
But as mentioned in the read me text file, it's a time-bombed version:
"This driver package was built on April 18, 2005, and will expire 120 days
from that date.

XP Won't Detect SB Live 24-Bit by
Tardo
Hi guys,
I'm trying to upgrade a SB Live Value (Dell\WDM) with a new SB Live 24-Bit
but when I make the switch, XP doesn't detect the SB Live 24-Bit. Even the
Creative Software can't find the card. I've tried to move it to other
slots but no difference. I've reinstalled the Value card with...

XP SP2 and Live 5.1 Value problem by
Jerry
I have a Dell Dimension 4100 and today I made two upgrades: Live Value 5.1
and WinXP SP2. When I loaded SP2 I lost sound! Device Manager says the
sound card is loaded fine and operating properly. The most recent driver on
the Creative web site is dated FEB 2003 and the files on the disc that...

XP resets speaker settings? by
Kiran Otter
I have a Live! Value on XP Pro.. I set it to 4 speakers, reboot, and it's
back to two speakers. And, only sometimes.
I seem to remember a fix from Creative regarding this. I installed it and
still have the same problem.
(It's call the Sound Blaster Live! - Driver Patch, "Speaker settings...

XP makes me deaf! by
Maurice Brenner
I have just upgraded from Windows ME to XP and have lost all sound on my
Soundblaster 5.1. I did the usual things - checked leads made sure there
were no driver conflicts etc. I've downloaded and installed LiveDrvUni-Pack
and LiveDrvPack_Patch but that doesn't help either. Any suggestions please?

XP Drivers for a CT4760? by
Ed B.
I'm a little confused as to what drivers to download for my Soundblaster
Live! CT4760 for Windows XP. If I go to the Soundblaster web site, it says
that card is a Sound Blaster Digital Entertainment/ Platinum, but if I go to
download the drivers, that isn't one of the options, so which one do I...

X-Fi Surround 5.1 by
Steve Swift
Is this an OK place to ask questions about the X-Fi Surround 5.1 (USB)
soundcard? Until I know better, I'll press on here.
I've recently upgraded to driver release 1.1.99 and now I get small
"chirps" in my sound whenever I interrupt what is playing. For example,
if I'm playing one track...

WinXP Driver Inquiry for SBLive Value by
Lenny
I went to Creative's site to get better drivers for this old beast =
(well, the card itself isn't THAT old perhaps, it came in a d(H)ell =
about 2 years ago), but that was a hopeless task.
Doing a "find drivers" search thing, I got some hits. First file seemed =
to be a driver pack, with about...

Win2K Sblive driver problems by
Wally
Hi.
I've been trying to get my SBLive 5.1 Player(?) working under Windows 2000.
First off, I tried using the original CD (the card was bought a couple of
years ago). From the autorun dialog, I installed the drivers and the main SB
apps, and then rebooted. When I tried the SB diagnostics, it said...

Which of these 2 is better? CT4700 or CT4810 by
RegularJoe
Anyone know what the difference between these 2 cards is?
(I couldn't find any specific specs at soundblaster.com or creative.com).
I don't care about support, just sound quality.
Thanks!
Joe
