SATA and a CDRW on A7N8X Deluxe R2 by
koop
Is there a reason you want to forego the use of IDE altogether? I would

device as a slave on an SATA controller, is that an incorrect...

Passive NB heatsink? by
Duke Satan
I put an old 486 fan on top of mine, i have found the southbridge needs a
small passive heatsink on it (memory coolers are ideal) as for changing it
completely i dont see why not, the cooler you keep it the stabler the system
will be ;-) Cooling memory also helps alot.

A7N266-VM/AA PCI 1.1 or 2.2 Compliant?? by
bj23
I was looking at the specs for the A7N266-VM/AA (actually it was for the
A7N266-VM which said PCI 1.1) on Asus' website. I couldn't find a spec
sheet for the A7N266-VM/AA.
But anyways, can anyone tell me if the A7N266-VM/AA is PCI 1.1 or 2.2
compliant? Most of the other Asus socket A boards I...

Dr Joolz
Hi guys, I have an Asus CUSL2 motherboard and a 80GB HDD, and am thinking of
getting a 120GB HDD as a 2nd drive in the system, first of all does anyone
know if the CUSL2 will take 200GB of storage altogether (or 120GB in 1
channel)? And what make do I go for? I've heard that IBM's 180GXP is a...

Enable "Halt on No Errors" and disable Post Reporter. Chances are
good this error is incorect and your RAM is fine. The A7N8X series is
buggy in this regard.

So, what do you think?
Why not giving AMD a chance and upgrading your second system with a shiny
A7N8X with an Athlon XP 2800+?
I am sure you won't regret this decision.
Bye.
