Storage Recommendations for a Single Web Application by
Josh
I've been reading posts from this group for the past few days and have
a decent understanding of the differences between DAS, NAS, and SAN.
However, it seems like the majority of the discussion revolves around
enterprise-wide file/data storage and sharing.
If I'm planning a single website...

Sangdil
Greetings all
My objective is to command an Emulex FC HBA to send out a TPRLO to the
target. One way that I know of sending a TPRLO is send scsi bus reset
to the Emulex HBA and then it converts it into TPRLO and sends it to
the target.
The problem that I am facing is the unavailability of a direct...

STK L40 and Quantum DLT7000 problems... by
Brian Greenberg
I recently moved our L40 from one office to an other and somewhere
along the line, the STK L40 didn't agree with the move and decided
that it wasn't going to communicate with one of the DLT7000 drives in
the library.
The library as a whole seems to be working fine and of the two DLT7000
drives in...

MSCS and XIOtech storage by
Corto Maltese
Anyone tried combining an MS cluster (thinking about starting at 2
nodes each cluster) with a XIOtech Magnitude array?
Should not be a problem. Shared quorum LUN and presto.
Just trying to get a feel for any potential "gotchas".
TIA,

Anyone used, have, looking to use SSD's?
Currently the only vendor I can find is Texas Memory and their RAM SAN

anything else in a quick Google is interesting.
Thanks.
