I've just acquired one and I'd like to defenestrate it. Knoppix 3.2 won't boot, and Partition Magic 8 fails when I try to shrink the Windows XP partition to open some space for a distro that expects an empty partition.

Does Compaq support XP on the Presario 5140? When switched to XP the USB ports no longer work. I went to the download Drivers site, and put in the model number and only shows Windows 98 and Windows 95... Am I out of luck on this? :crybaby:
