An attempt to open any of two dozen folders restored by Nero

denied" message. Account has administrative privileges and
its password has not changed. Is there a solution to this

banding of slim jewel cases? by
Miles Ahead
I'm looking for a cheap and easy way to band a bunch of
slim jewel cases together for multiple TV show episode
sets. Typically I may have from 4 to 10 slim jewel cases
per show that I want to group together for storage.
The "large rubber band" solution is easiest, but the rubber
band takes up...

dual layer for dvd-rw by
Tomo
Hi all
I've never seen any discs like this but I wonder - do they exist? Would it
be possible to create a disc like this if you used both sides of the disc? I
think some DVD-RAM discs can record on both sides. Comments please

Adding a new cdr drive changed letter names and drive name? by
psongman
HI, I went to burn my new cd I recorded after I had installed a new
Liteon burner last week. Wow, it gave me the only option of burning on
the other cd drive that is just an Atapi cdrom one. Strange.
However, all the rest of the info worked, so I just burned the CD with
the one offered at 12X and...

CD R on Boombox CD Player by

I just bought an inexpensive JVC boombox CD player. It is advertised
as playing CD R/W. Some of my CD-R's play fine, some don't. I tried

brand, they still do not play. Is something wrong with this JVC
boombox? Should we get a...

Why are blanks rated for max speed? by
Bob Babcock
Why are recordable CD and DVD blanks rated for a max burning speed? I
would think that this would be a function of the burner, not the media.
The only explanation I can think of is something like reciprocity failure
in film, but I would think power calibration would take care of this. What
am I...

Wait 4 months and get an 8x burner. If you must have
