Old burner and 80 min. discs by Uh uh
Hi all, I have an old system and an old burner - Smart and Friendly R6024, external SCSI. It's been a champ for many years until recently. I cannot get it to burn anything to 80 min. CDs (though I haven't tried it recently with 74 min. discs). Also, the problem occurs with (under W2K) Adaptec...

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Redbook\SpecialTargetList] by Howard Kaikow
I found a list of what may be troublesome devices in the following key in the Win 2000 registry. I wonder if each of those devices has to be treated in a special way by software to account for some non-standard implementation by the device? What is the purpose of that registry key? --

Media sticking in bulk packages by veredgf
Hello, I couldn't find any info on this so I figured I'd ask - We use a bulk packet of blank CDs (with no label) for a burning robot. The robot picks up the CDs on its own. Unfortunately bulk CDs tend to come stuck to one another and need to be seperated manually. If you happen to miss unsticking...

Guys, wonder whether any of you can help me with a problem. I purchased my freecom 8x4x32 internal CD/RW approx. Dec. 2000 and installed on my Windows 98 PC (which by then was only about 12 months old). No problems there. I've now upgraded to a more modern PC, which has Windows XP and an already...

Restoring the gaps between tracks on live recordings by SlipStTh
Please excuse if this question is very basic or already discussed, but I have some live recordings where 1-2 second gaps introduced by various CD-R burners destroy the live performance's natural flow. Can these gaps easily be "restored" to make the show seamless/complete? Thanks.
