burn a wav file by
Lion_Elk
I have an old tape recording which I recently converted to a 49MB .wav
file. I also have it in the form of a 1.4MB .mp3. Both sound OK when
played (via the line-out socket to my hi-fi)
Although I can burn the mp3 to a CD and play it OK, the CD wav file
sounds 'jerky', whether recorded as an...

How'd it do this? by
Jim Nugent
My son recently "borrowed" my Lee Ann Womack CD. I could tell because I
found it in my room, but not where I'd left it. So I burned a copy (of just
the audio session) and left it for him with a note saying to please ask me
before taking my stuff.
Today, I found the CD-R in the family room and...

Is this maybe another Nero 6.6 error? by
Jimmy
I just upgraded to Nero 6.6.0.1 and now I have no sound. I do have audio
when I watch TV with ATI 7500 but not with WMP or Nero Mix or Wave Editor.
This on an XP Pro SP1 system with SB Audigy. The hardware wizard shows the
mic and playback works but still no playback of any other sound files....

Drivespeed problems by
griffin13
Currently, I have a Samsung 348 combo drive. It plays and reads but I've
noticed that the read speeds drop significantly sometimes. Recently, I was
burning a CD in Roxio and the speed went from 48x to 1X. I don't have this
problem when I use Nero, but sometimes when I'm copying a CD or reading...

EAC Question about CRC by
Michael Gerbasio
Hi,
If this isn't the right place to ask the question, a point in the right
direction would be helpful.
I search google but couldn't come up with an answer. I have a DVD-CD/RW
drive and a CD/RW drive in my PC. Using EAC I test and copy a CD. Most
tracks have track quality 100% some are 99.9%, Read...

Half the time anymore Nero 5.5 can't detect my burner and it only gives me

CD only reads music or recordable cd's by
[email protected]
My Yamaha CRW-F1E cdrw does not recognize regular data cd's. It will
play music cd's just fine, and it can write just fine. Is there a
difference in the way music cd's are read vs. the way data cd's are
read? Does data require a greater roation speed or something?
Any ideas how to fix...

Hi!
Using Nero 6 and Win XP
Each time a burn gets to 100% nero completely hangs (can't even kill the
process) and it's impossible to open any more programs or shut down the
computer properly. I ahve to hit the reset switch.
After reboot the disc is fully readable though so the burn...

A question about CDDoctor by
Noik
I'm talking about the program written by some guy in Japan that was
intended to be used on Liteon drives and drives from some other drive
manufacturer (I forget which one).
The scale on the graph says "cps". That kinda implies errors per
second. But is it really BLER, which is, I think, a little...
