Can Roxio and Nero be installed on the same machine. by
Ken Applequist
I have Nero installed on my machine. However, according to a Microsoft
article 315350. The XP writer is actually from Roxio. I like the Nero
software better - just personal preference. However, in order to be
compatible with my school, I need to use the internal XP software. Is there
any way that...

burn autorun photo CD by
Steve T
I want to burn a bunch of photos onto a CD that when installed into any
computer will automatically boot-up to the first photo and then cycle
through. The cycle can be automatic or just a simple Page Down key punch. I
have used ChucklesPicView but that only launches me to Explorer view where...

Copy of CloneCD compatibility list by
Harry Muscle
Now that CloneCD is no longer being sold, the drive compatibility list that
was available on the manufacturers site is down. I'm under the impression
that the list on the website is way newer than the list in the help file
(since the help file doesn't include any DVD burners, etc.). Does...

Media for slow burners by
Ron G
I've a Plex and TDK that burn cdr's in the 10-12x range. Very reliably
on my diminishing pile of discs made for burning at those speeds. Can't
find them any more so I'm wondering if there are high speed discs I
should avoid or prefer for using with these burners? I understand all
the talk about...

Nero Express?? by
chuck
I've been looking for a newer CD-RW lately, and I've
seen several that include Nero Express software. Is
this a cut-down, budget version of Nero Burning ROM?
(I currently use Nero 5.) Or is this just a
user-antagonistic front end to Nero Burning ROM 6??
thanks,
chuck

Is Sony DRU510A still the best combo writer? by

I have been using one at work for about 1 year. Performs flawlessly.
I need to buy a combo writer (CD-R,RW, DVD-R, -RW, +R, +RW) for home. Is
the Sony still the best? (It was the only combo writer for a while..).
I see that Plextor has one now PX-708A. How does that compare to the Sony?
