2100 vs 2400 Athlon by
Byron Hinson
I currently have a 2100 (266) speed athlon in my PC, my board can only go up
to a 2600 (266) chip and I can't find one anywhere - will I notice much
difference in applications and in games if I went from my 2100 to a 2400
chip?

2100 will. Why won't 1700? by
sdlomi
I've got a A7NX8, rev.2, Crucial PC2100 Cas 2 DDR, and it'll run a
2100XP+ at 190 fsb(only ran it there a few mins a couple of times--no
probs., just played a couple of games), and at 166 fsb for past 5 weeks.
It's a T'bred "B" w/mult. unlocked.
I've just got a 1700XP+, T'bred "B" w/mult unlocked. ...

2100+ multiplier by
NoSoup4me
I have the option of bringing my multiplier up to 23x. Would doing this
(and lowering the fsb) be dangerous to the CPU?

2100+ to Mobile 2400/2500/2600 worth it? by
Invid-Corg
I have my 2100+ oc'ed to 2.17 on my Shuttle AN35N ultra (Vantec aeroflow,
512 pc3200 ram). Would going to one of the mobile chips be much of a speed
difference (Realistically I mean, not just raw #'s. Will I notice a
difference when I'm online or playing a FPS?)
Also, are there any advantages to...

2100+ voltage question by
So It's Come To This?
I have my multiplier set to 10.5. Is there a "recommended" voltage for each
multiplier setting? (I have mine set to 1.7v)
Also, would increasing the Ram and AGP voltages cause the CPU temperature to
rise? (I assume that if the the temp rises inside the case, the CPU will be
affected as well.)

215MHz FSB by
Wes Newell
Just a followup on the K7S8X Asrock MB with SIS746FX chipset. Lowered the
multiplier to 10.5 today to do some testing of the FSB. No problem running
215MHz FSB. Didn't boot at 10.5x220. Might have been ram, cpu, or just a
setting. Didn't spend any time trying to tweak it. So if you're looking
for a...

2200 Mobile question by
Robert Sligh
I am going to purchase a new Mobile AMD 2200 . My question is can it
still be over clocked to 2.0 mhz.
The processors are still open?
I am getting the mobile because of the lower voltage so I can run the
thing without the high temperatures I have plenty of heat sink for it
running at 2.0 mhz
It the...
