[Problem]Can I Use same boot disk in different MOBO same model? by Whendric
I was considering upgrading my CPU in My P5E and run an image of the original Boot Disk (in my case an XP3 System HD) and If all else failed. I would put the original CPU and HD back on my mobo and get back to SQUARE ONE. Would this be a plausible solution? But Now I find that I would have to...

X58 and UEFI bios's by Jim
Can anyone shed any light on what the score is with Asus X58 chipset boards and if they come with UEFI bios (not worried about GUI, just booting from drives larger then 2.2TB) or is this just for the newer Sandybridge stuff that has it? TIA

P5Q Deluxe Ram Speed by [email protected]
Is it more stable to run 4 sticks pc PC8500 at 800 with stock voltage as compared to running at 1066 at 2.1 volts? Is the ram speed the culprit when many overclocks fail/crash? Can stable overclocks be achieved with ram at volts? Thxs. -- -

If I raise the FSB a bit I notice that CPU-Z shows the core voltage of the QX9770 is a bit higher than stock. Does raising the FSB also raise cpu core voltage or is CPU-Z inaccurate? Thnks. -- -

I set this Windows 7 Pro machine up originally with an IDE optical drive. A couple days ago I added an SATA optical drive, but instead of removing or disconnecting the IDE drive I simply disabled IDE/1394 in the BIOS. I then found that my D-Link PCIe Wireless N card no longer worked: it did...
