Shiera
Hello everyone,
Is Brightstor's default block size 65536 bytes? If not, is it possible
to change it to other value, say 512 bytes instead?
Thanks for the help. I'll appreciate it.

Help on Tape LBA by
Shiera
Hello everyone...
Just some follow-up questions on Malc's answers to my previous
questions...
Since data are stored sequentially, so the block positioning are also
sequential, right? How can we identify an end of the block, especially
if a single cartridge contains blocks of different sizes? Is...

using a variable in sssu script by
[email protected]
I am trying to figure out, when creating a snapshot/snapclone sssu
script for HP EVA storage system, how to make the snapshot or
snapclone name a variable, preferably a timestamp, this way I can
automate the create of the snapshots and not have to worry about the
name already being used.
Any ideas?

Thecus N2100 NAS storage options by

This is a NAS that comes with no hard drives. You add your own SATA
drives. It has USB to support storage expansion to an externa USB hard
drive. Does anyone know if it can be used with an external USB drive
as the ONLY drive? I have a large IDE drive in a USB enclosure, so I'd
rather not have...

we have a couple of EVA 5000, I'm planning to put Solars/sparc's in
front of them as well as HP-UX/pa-risc and Linux/i386(compaq) (running
large fileservers on HP-UX is a constant pain and we have a lot more
