Kingston Value vs Corsair Value RAM for OC SockA XP-M by
Phil, Squid-in-Training
I'm at home for the winter break so I don't have access to my main comp
right now. I'm wanting to get some new RAM for a new rig.
Okay so I've got a NF7-S 2.0 with a 2200+ XP-M and I'm planning on doing
200, maybe 215FSB with it. Newegg has (1) Corsair Value Select 256MB 3200
for $37.73 + $4.73...

Which XP-M for final Socket A upgrade? by
Peder
Currently I'm running an unlocked 2500 on an NF7-S v.2 at 3200+ speed at
1.825v. I'd like to try an XP-M 2400 or 2500 to try an squeeze a couple
hundred or so Mhz out of it. I'm using Hyperx PC3200 and an SLK900a
HS/92mm Panaflo combo. Which processor should I be looking at - the 35w or
45w? ...

design make up for or exceed the .2 Gig of speed that is lost? Which...

Overclocking Sent Me To The Future! by
Auction Dude
I was overclocking an old Celeron 400 MHz processor the other day and was
having great success as I had pushed it to over 7 GHz when all of a sudden,
somewhere around the 7.15 GHz range, the processor starting shaking
terribly. I quickly tried to turn off the computer and unplug the power
supply,...

Layout is as follows: 'x' shows pins the jumper covers for 133 Mhz

Prescott Socket 775 chips - one hot, one not - why? by
AFN
I just built two machines. One with a 3.2 gz Intel Prescott (socket 775)
and with the 2.8 gz Prescott (775).
Both have the same hardware otherwise, including the same Thermaltake case
with (replaced) Nexus super-quiet-but-slower 120 mm fans on the front and
back. I am NOT overclocking either. ...
