AMD Processors & bus speeds by

I'm interested in seeing a breakout of which AMD processors support which
front-side bus speeds. I dug around AMD's web site for a bit and couldn't
find a list.

Monitor by
Zantafio
Dunno with mouse & keyboard.
But this works fine with an advanced monitor.
I did this with my iiyama 2 video ports monitor (Vision Master Pro 450).
One port is equipped with a BNC to 15 pin HD standard connector. It's
connected to my A7N8X.
The second port is the standard one. The cable is...

How can 2 PSUs be so different? by
Li'l ol' me
I'm trying to build a silent-ish PC so I've got meself a QTEC 350W (the low
noise 27db version).
The PSU I've been using with no problems is a stock 350W that came with the
case (not sure of the make as I've just put it back in upside down!).
I put in the QTec PSU and to be on the safe side I...

Are all PCI SCSI cards the same? by
Patch
The reason I ask, I replaced my Mobo & lost my ISA slot for my Mustek
scanner. It was a SCSI card. I emailed Mustek asking about a PCI card and
they told me what card I needed to order. I went to the web site & saw a
photo of the card they recommended & it was an ISA card! Plus they wanted
$40 for...

What MOBO would fit? by
J Valentine
Here's what I've decided on for my first homebuilt:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with 333 Mhz FSB
Corsair Memory XMS 2x256mb PC2700 DDR 333 Mhz
Antec Case TBD with 350 W Power Supply and 2.0 USB on front
What I can't nail down is the mobo. I've almost decided on the Aopen
AK79G-VN, nForce2 chipset, but...

its cause, but was hoping that maybe someone here could help me with.
The computer keeps hanging at random occations, so it's very difficult to
pin-point the excact circumstances and thus the reason for why it hangs....

Recycling a VCR ... by

Folks,
I am building a server that will be built in an old VCR case. I am
first going to go for a proof of concept using a simple Pentium I 200
MHz, and a simple network card (will mostly stream files over da
house). If everything seems right, I'll replace it by a fanless Mini
ITX stuff ...
