Mouse USB--PS/2 converter by
Teilhard Knight
I have a cheap USB optical mouse which was plugged to my computer on the
PS/2 port with a converter which was included in the box. I also have a
puppy who got done with the converter, so I went and bought a couple of new
ones. They do not work with my mouse. I tested the mouse (plugging it USB)

What kind of on/off switch? by
Dave Smith
I hope this isn't too silly a question.
I want to build a system in a box other than a standard computer case.
I think I have everything figured out but what kind of switch to use
for an on/off switch. Is it a standard switch, or something
different?
Thanks very much.

Dustless clothes ? by
ISOHaven
I've read the same garbage and I call bull**** on that entire statistic.
Why?
1. Why did my old house have WAY MORE dust then my current house? PLASTER
WALLS! Most of the "dust" in my old house was actually kicked up plaster.
2. Why, when I return to my cabin, is it FILLED WITH DUST even...

Video Out by
Bob
Does the standard video have a composite video out? I believe you need
a special DB connector with an RCA jack on one end.
If so, can you play DVDs on your computer and view them with an
ordinary TV that has Line In? I assume you can connect the Line Out
from the sound to the TV Line In with a...

How do I lower my AGP video card from 4x to 3x? by

My screen freezes up every now and again. There are no errors showing in
Microsoft's Event Viewer when it happens. I am wondering if I should have
gotten a standard 4x agp card instead of one that is 4x and 8x? Is there any
way I can bring the 4x down to 3x to see if this has anyting to do with...

IBM clickety-clack keyboard question by

Hello all,
I just picked up an old IBM clickety-clack 102 keyboard, a 139140. Only
paid a buck for it but of course its missing its removable cord. Darn
shame as it looks as though it was hardly used. I used these keyboards
years ago and you just can't beat them for feel. Their multiple key
press...
