Overclocking MSI--GF4-MX440 by
Ifrag.v2
Ok, I know this card isn't great due to lack of vertex shaders but I'm o/cin
anyway. The MSI Clock had section had an "auto-adjust" for memory clock which
it determined could be set to 689 mhz (I guess it has some kind of stability
checking, it changed the screen resoultion back and forth with a...

Which Nvidia card should I buy? by
[email protected]
OS: Win98 and XP (on two separate drives)
CPU: AMD XP1800
MB: Shuttle
Monitor: Daewoo 19" 905D
I currently own a Nvidia FX 5200 by Megaspeed (MS). I bought it because it was
very cheap and I wanted to test the waters, as it were. If I upgrade from here,
which Nvidia should I buy? I might could...

Questions about Stereo Drivers by
[email protected]
On one web site it said the Nvidia drivers support "page-flipping & anaglyph
(red/blue)".
1. Does this mean it can't do interlace or line-blanking?
2. It also said "full-res" but does that mean full-screen? Full-screen page
flipping? (Cool!).
3. Does it really work on all DirectX and OpenGL? Or...

Is my 3Dmark03 score normal for my setup (GeForce XP 5900)? by
Andrew Staley
Might want to try the latest BETA drivers on this site
http://www.guru3d.com/ should bring it up to nearer the 5000 mark. But that
score looks about right for a non-overclocked system wit the non-ultra card.
My 5900 ULTRA gets around 6200 on 3DMark03 with the 44.71 drivers.

This combination of Geforce 5600 based graphics card and motherboard
keeps locking up. I've tried updating the drivers but no improvement.
The graphics card works fine in another machine. An older Matrox
graphics card works fine with this motherboard.
Running WinXP, SR1 applied.

GeForceFX 5200 problems with DirectX by
Bio Hazard
I'm upgrading a computer's video card to the Geforce FX 5200.
The odd thing is that I can't get DirectX (any version 8 through 9) to work
on it at all, not even simple screensavers.
This is on the KT400 Motherboard, which has AGP 8x, but when I put in the
Geforce4 Ti4600 DirectX works great.
I read...

When I capture in from my composite source, I get dropped frames (about 1 in

FX-5200 hell by

Hi
I have a fairly new Dell Dimension 4550 (P-4 2.4 GHZ) running XP, and I
decided that I needed a 128 MB video card, so I replaced the Geoforce MX-
420 that came with the machine with an FX-5200 (both AGP). No problem at
first, I used the driver from the included CD, and it worked fine.
A few...
