MRAM by
4thHorse
I read an post from earlier this year stating reasons why MRAM might
have a difficult time establishing a market, but I noticed that it did
not mention the fact that MRAM does not lose info after power loss.
Does this only help with quick boot-up, or are there other
applications?

I've contacted Snap's support, but haven't...

Cheaper alternative to Promise UltraTrak RM15000? by
.
Hello everyone
I'm thinking of buying the Promise UltraTrak RM15000 for personal use,
since I have 15 WD 100G drives.
The problem is, I'd rather not go with a SCSI-IDE solution, I'd prefer
a Firewire 800 raid case that'll hold 12+ drives.
I'd also perfer a tower system, preferably aluminum...

Fibre Channel Hub by
Rico
hi,
Can anyone recommend a fibre Channel hub which will provide failover
for a W2k cluster with a Metastor E2400 and QLA2300F/66 2Gb PCI HBA's.
Would a IBM Netfinity Fibre Channel Hub - 3523 or Emulex LH1005 do the
job?
I'm looking for something less expensive than 8 port switch.
cheers
