quickcam pro 4000 by

You know the Windows XP "donk" attention sound?
I recently installed a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. Ever since then,
when I shut down, at the point where all you see on the screen is the
desktop wallpaper, I hear the "donk" sound before it shuts down.
Also, I don't know if this is related, but it...

Tuc
Hi,
Is there a program out there (Prefer Unix, Windows will work)
that can capture the output of my Axis 2100's and convert it into an
AVI or MPEG?
I was looking at "motion", but it seems only to work on Linux,
and I run FreeBSD.
Thanks, Tuc/TTSG Internet Services, Inc.

Need to feed a network camera image to up to 100 viewers by

I am trying to set up a "weather" camera for some people who work
inside, so they can see what the weather is doing outside. Obviously,
they do not have a window to look out! Anyway, I have tried using a
Axis 2100 camera and allow people on the intranet to access it. This

Which cam? by
Todd Parks
I have a Logitech Webcam 4000 Pro. I am looking to get a better cam as I
hear that this cam is mediocre at best. Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions?
I looked for some webcam comparisons on the web but found none that really
helped so I thought that I would ask here. Thanks.

three or four programs. One of them is G2Video.exe, which should...
