Help identifying an INTEL cpu (Pentium 4?) by Art
Hi, can someone help me? I have what seems to be an INTEL Pentium 4 CPU, but it doesn't have a brand name on it or CPU speed engraved on the metal. Only these numbers and letters: A64242-02-YE1 (last cypher could be a "T" but it is not very visible). What do I have here? Thanks!

I have a D845WN, and was running BIOS ver P7. I upgraded my computer with a new processor 2.4 P4, and when I fired it up it hung at the splash screen. I put the old cpu in (P4 1.7) and it did the same thing. I know, this bios was not meant to run a 2.4 P4. So I did a recovery from a bootable...

Zone 2 Too Hot. What is Zone 2? [cooling, over-heating] by Wayne
When rendering Video on an Intel D865PERL with an ATI AIW9000, the Intel monitor shows "System Zone 2" getting too hot. Since it peaks at 51º and only lasts for about an hour during rendering, I'm not too worried about over-heating, but the alarm becomes intrusive. So I have questions. My system...
