Greetings, I have a Yamaha scsi 4x4x16 burner that I use in conjunction with a Toshiba scsi SD-M1401 dvd drive and Easy CD Creator 3.5c. This setup has been working very dependably for the most part. However, recently the Yamaha has created a few discs where the data can only be read from the dvd...

What is HD burn? by SleeperMan
In manual is explained only briefly - it says that it's possible to burn 1,4G to 700M CDR with DVD technology. How, with what and again how? Is it something similar than Plex Premium has? That's Nero 6, of course.

File box for CD-R's by normanstrong
I have about 200 CD-R's that are not played often, if ever, but I must keep as backups. They're stored in paper envelopes with a clear window, so you can see the contents. I'd like to find a file box that I can use to store these CD's in much the same way I would store file folders. Something...

Backwards compatibility by Don Sterner
Depending upon his IDE speeds and his memory access times, he may even need to go slower than that. Back in the ice ages, many people had trouble supplying data to burners at 4x. When that happened it was usually a matter of configuring the system properly. Even so, many had lots of problems...

Can someone tell me how to remove Nero from my system. I have uninstalled Nero 5.5.10.20 using Add and Remove, searched for, removed all references to Nero and Ahead using file search, and the registry search, but still when I go to Start/run/msconfig and look in the Startup section, NeroCheck...

Hello to all. I have copied in my Dell laptop a "copy control" CD, using the CloneCD software. It came out OK. But later, while playing it in my stereo, I heard nothing and all the songs numbers were displayed one after the other with 2 seconds intervals. I am very disappointed. Something...

Audio CD's: Do copies of copies degrade quality? by jack
Let me clarify, because I am NOT pirating audio CD's! Using EAC (Exact Audio Copy), I have copied 50 or so of MY original audio CD's for use in my car CD player. All is well and good, and as usual EAC lives up to its reputation. Now, I need to make a second set of copies for my wife to play in...
