How to turn off spontaneous deferral on Itanium? by
Jungrae Kim
Hi,
I'm a graduate student developing JAVA JIT compiler on Itanium.
Working with Itanium, I got a problem with speculative loads and needs
your kind help to get out of it.

Can someone fill me in on the difference between the next generation chips

The well known differences are that it will be on a smaller process

Will Pentium 5 work on existing Pentium 4 (Socket 478) mobo by
Harry Muscle
I'm gonna be buying everything for a new system soon (something around the
2.5Ghz area) however, I'm also planing out my upgrade strategy for the
future. If I go with the an AMD system, I'm basically maxed out at the
currently available 3200+ since the Athlon 64 will require a new mobo. So
I'm...

Graphics Card In D845GRG by
Andrew McConville
Hi
I currently have the above motherboard running a P4 1.8 with the integrated
graphics chip. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering what sort of add in
graphics card (ATI or NVIDIA) would go well with this system, when I get the
time and money..... The Intel FAQ for the board says "The D845GRG...

I'm cueing on your phrase "... very stable ...". Fagedabout new ASUS

Thinking about replacing the original fan with a more silent one, and also
replace my hard drive as it makes a lot of noise too, but the hard drive
"problem" comes later...right now I am thinking about the cpu...
