NVMe M.2 SSD Win7, anyone with experience? by
B00ze
Good day.
Anyone got experience with booting Win7 on an NVMe drive? There are
hotfixes for it for Win7, anyone used them? I'm also wondering if tools
like MiniTool Partition Wizard (bootable DVD) or TeraByte's BootIt will
work with such a drive...
Thanks.
Best Regards,

If you add an old HDD as your "D:" drive and it goes bad, what happens? by
RayLopez99
Like the title says, if I add on a fairly modern 2010 Mobo a mechanical HDD and it goes bad, will the main (bootable) "C" drive continue to work? I hope so, since the SATA drive I'm adding as the "D" drive is really old, and I intend to use it for backups only. But if it goes bad I hope the C:...

Which subwoofer sounds most like Gigaworks S750 ? by
Skybuck Flying[_4_]
Hello,
Within a few days a nice new piece of music will come out, the alt.c64 is a
hint at that.
Anyway first I will listen to the new music on my current audio setup.
However the music will sound even more awesome with a powered-subwoofer, a
subwoofer which is currently lacking from my setup.

Aligning my XP partition on my 500gig WD harddrive by
John B. Smith
I have the ambition to align my main C: (XP) partition. It is on a
500gig hard drive partitioned in half for XP and Win7. Msinfo.exe says
that the Partition Offset for the XP partition is NOT divisible by
4096. AOMEI promises to align the partition and Optimize it, and I'd
like to try, if only I...

Logitech MX 5500 Revolution keyboard has no numlock by

Considering how many times/posts I mentioned that keyboard
combination without knowing the keyboard limitation, I should
be clear about this.
There is no numlock Key on the Logitech MX 5500 Revolution
keyboard and mouse combo. At $80 total, I do not feel cheated, but
it's weird. The keyboard has...

ordered upgraded HDD docking station by
Flasherly[_2_]
This unit has both Esata and USB3 ports. Usage will be quadcore MBs,
circa 2010-ish. My other docking stations, given free to me by
inclusion on HDD sale incentives, are from years and years ago and
solely USB2 units. (Only one of them can reach identifying a 2T HDD
insertion.)
Bit of a gamble...
