Driver for 3Com 3C995-SX needed by
Jo
If anyone has a driver for a 3Com 3C995-SX Fiber NIC for pretty much
any Windows OS version, I'd be very grateful.
It was 1st on the market in late 2000. None of the drivers for similar
cards on 3COMs FTP or web sites work with this card. 3Com say they
don't support it and refuse to help. There...

Perhaps you mean a top architecture with 12 instances of some entity.
I am
giving input to 12 entities in such a way that the internal signal's
in each entity has different values from each other at any time....

Need (FAST) external harddrive recommendation for video editing by
nd
Hi, I've got a huge project ahead of me, transfering about 40 home
videos to DVD, and need an external HD, as my current HD isn't
sufficient. My only concern is speed really. I want to be able to
capture straight from Adobe Premier to the drive without dropping any
frames, which I am able to...

Are the Mercury Elite firewire 800 harddrives going to become available soon? by
nd
Does anyone know when (or even if) the Mercury Elite firewire 800
drives will become more widely available any time soon? Currently you
can only get them directly from the company's website, but I'm going
to wait (if possible) until there's some more competition from other
online vendors or retail...

Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert & Matrox G550 by
MMazX
Hi,
Does Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert work with Matrox Millenium G550 or not?
According the hardware requirements, a graphic subsystem with DirectX
8.1 is the minimum, but I don't know what it really means:
- DirectX 8.1 software (runtime, drivers, etc.) installed in OS
or:
- full DirtectX 8.1...

Motherboard benchmarking software on floppy? by
0
Hi NG!
Do you know of a good motherboard performance/integrity testing
software that fits on a floppy (preferrably bootable) so I don't need
to use my hard drives? I'm going to change some capacitors on my
mainboard and don't want to risk blowing everything up.
Please redirect me if you think that...

Dell Laptop slowing down by
Guy Cooper
Why not just swap the disks? That way you'll establish if it's software or
hardware issue. If the BIOS settings are identical and the performance
doesn't swap along with the disks, then it must be hardware letting you
down. If the disk from the fast one speeds up the slow one, it's...

vga-svga cable questions by
Some One
I am setting up a 2 computer system each having dual-head video
cards and
using 2 2-port KVM switches to switch between them. For this purpose
the
cabling that comes with the kvm switches is too much bulk and has
some
terminations that are not being used so I decided to just go...
