Samsung ML-1470 Laser Printer by Vic Dura
Samsung ML-1470 Laser Printer, Great Printer, bad rebate. 4 or 5 stars This is a great little printer. I already had an old HP deskjet 960c color printer, but the ink costs were too high. I had read that HP was implementing microchip-based ink expiration dates in the cartridges of their newer...

Dell 720 Color Printer: Lexmark Cartridges? by Sylvain
My Dell computer came with this (cheap) Dell color printer #720. It certainly looks like a Lexmark printer but I have read somewhere that Dell printers were not compatible with Lexmark cartridges. Is that true? Would anyone have used Lexmark cartridges in their Dell 720 printer? I would prefer...

Phaser 850 roller counter resetting? (Maintenance Kit reset) by Awol [AT] i-hacked [D0T] com
The "Extended Maintenance Kit" in my Phaser 850 printer has about 60% of it's life left. However, the printer refuses to let me print from my, since the kit was installed just over two years ago. (They have a 45000 print / 24 month expiration built in) My prints have been flawless, and there...

Epson R1800 when will they be in stores? by measekite
The R1800 over the R800 appears to be a good choice, however, the Canon i9900 might be a better choice. John A. Stovall wrote: I'm thinking about getting the R1800 rather than the R800 for photo printing. But I'm not seeing then in any of the online stores like Newegg. When can we expect to...

HP D145 - 'Bad Printheads' by David McClelland
Hi gang, Help or any suggestions from anyone would be most gratefully recieved on this one... After a good while's worth of perfect functioning, our HP OfficeJet D145 seems to be playing up, to the point where it is now unusable. To begin with, it starts complaining about 'bad printheads', but...

Epson printers and XP SP2 by Mike Skuczas
It's been awhile sinc e I tried printing photos with my R200. Has anyone heard of a fix for the SP 2 problem? My prints come out much darker and have a bluish cast to them. Trying to improve print quality of Epson C60 by History Fan
I have an uncle who owns a Epson C60 inkjet printer. It's about 4 years old and has never produced good print quality. This is really frustrating considering how much money he has spent on the ink cartridges. As his computer "advisor", I have tinkered with the printer's maintenance programs to...

I apologize in advance for asking something that may have been asked before. I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX500, and would like to know if anyone has had success with refilled cartridges. I contacted Re-Inks.com, and asked questions about color match and durability, and they evaded the...

Canon black doesn't print on return pass of head by [email protected]
i560 This one's weird. A document won't print every other pass of the print head (left to right or the other way around, I don't know). HOWEVER . . . As long as I park any color at all in the vertical stretch of paper, the black text will print fine (no blank passes).

Long story short. Canon S530D gave unrecoverable error blink (according to Canon Trouble-shooter) after 15 months . (Uses BCI 3 colours ) I replaced it with Pixma ip 3000 using BCI 6 colours. Very happy. I wanted to use the Memory Card Reader utility of the S530D, so I hooked it back up and so...
