Misco have poor customer service by
V Chua
This company deserves to go out of business. I ordered a wireless hub
+ free PCMCIA wireless card from them, and they send me a USB memory
dongle instead. They charge me for the much more expensive kit I
ordered (I paid by CC), and after 25 (yes, 25) phone calls and emails
later it is still not...

Ping: Hardware Options by
Tim
Please stop messing around with your web site. It's not Christmas yet and
even if it were, I still wouldn't want to see Santa bloody Claus and his
reindeer dashing from side to side and snow falling on the web page
distracting me while I'm trying to price up some jobs.
In fact I've given up - your...

Aria despatch by
Tx2
Placed an order with Aria today, and the resulting email suggested that
orders placed before 16:30 are ordinarily despatched for next day
delivery, with an email to notify you this is so arriving later in the
day.
No email has (yet) been forthcoming.
Was today not an ordinary day for getting...

Ebuyer - Next day delivery? by
Michael Rodgers
Hi,
I need some components to build a machine by Sunday. Not a problem - I'll
just select Next Day Delivery at Ebuyer.
So off I go, fill my cart, go to select delivery options only to find next
day delivery is unavailable - infact, all I can select is next Tuesday,
almost a week away.
I need it...

PING : ARIA ... Celeron chips by
Tx2
Are the Celeron chips that Aria sell OEM or Retail?
I would prefer to buy with an approved h/s and fan (retail) than source
separately.

Micro Warehouse very reputable? by
Lee J. Moore
I've purchased components from this company in the past with no problems.
However, I'm interested in an £800 notebook they're selling. Would anybody
here hesitate at such a purchase from them?
Backup is important. As is courier. Insight sell the unit slightly cheaper
but I don't want to trust...

15" LCD (Samsung/LG) - Anyone got them in stock? by
Chris
Does anyone know where I can get a 15" LCD (specifically the Samsung 152V or
LG 1510S)?
Nowhere (Dabs/Ebuyer/Simply/High Street) seems to have these, or any others
really, in stock and no sign of any stock coming.
Anyone know why the shortage?
Thanks

Dabs - Warning by
Mal
This is not a complete rant at Dabs but.... If you're sure that the item is
what you want and that nothing can go wrong with the transaction then it's
probably worth the risk - it did work for me once.
In short, I realised a day after placing an order and seeing from the site
that there was a prob...

Windows 'XP Home Full retail, cheapest price? by
Gordon Walker
Hi,
Trying to find a cheap MS XP Home Full Retail Version, any suggestions?
Also. I'm I still right in thinking that you can transfer this licence to an
other machine, eg. unlike the OEM version. With the all the legal crap
coming out of MS of late, I thought I better ask....... :-)

Aria, terrible experiance by

Hi,
Just thought I should tell people about my terrible experience with Aria,

Advice please : Athlon2800 or 3200 by
seeker
About to replace my PIII 500 with either a 2800 or 3200 system.
Question is will I see a drastic difference considering it's £100 more
expensive, or would I be better spending the £100 on say a DVD-RW.
It's obviously going to be a massive improvement either way over my
old system.
If I go for the...
