Mike Henley
i really like the specs vs price for this notebook from packard bell
http://www.packardbell.co.uk/products/node1601.asp?partNumber=P920400001
I've always preferred sony over anything else, i've bought two sony

Ebuyer by
Graeme Cole
Despite all the warnings on here, I was after a cheap printer and ordered a
HP deskjet from them.
1 - I paid extra for delivery by 3rd Dec but it was delivered on 4th.
2 - The printer they sent me has a foreign mains adaptor which will not fit
in a UK socket (unless I am going mad!).
So, I accept...

Decent Supermicro resellers in UK? by
James
I'm looking for a Supermicro 5011E barebones server, www.supermicro.co.uk
mentions two distributors, neither of whom seem to want to sell to end
users. I've emailed them both, two weeks ago, didn't get a reply from
either of them.
I found one listed at Watford Electronics' "Savastore" for £446.47...

BigPockets by
Rosie
Has anyone had a bad experience with them? My Pioneer 106 packed up last
Wednesday (3rd Dec), the tray would reject every disk I put in. Then the
tray would fail to close completely. I raised an RMA request form the
same day, and now today Monday 8th Dec I'm still waiting in a phone
queue and have...

Grrrrrr ebuyer by
Steve Peake
I know, I know, I guess someone must have slipped crack in my cornflakes ,
but I placed an order with ebuyer.
Items in stock, delivered on or before Friday sounded fine, with most other
companies it would have come Tuesday/Wednesday. Only one problem they have
been stuck at "awaiting dispatch"...

Another invisible CityLink card by
Cornelius J Rat
My colleague who lives in Crowthorne, near Bracknell, ordered bits from
EBuyer for delivery last week; they were due Wednesday so he waited in. They
hadn't arrived by the evening so he checked the Citylink website - marked as
not in and a card having been put through the door. No card, but...

Selling OEM sotware - allowed? by
none none
Hi,
I just came across a few CDs that came with my old PC - namely Windows 95,
Office 95 and Office 97.
They are all OEM cds, i.e. it states on them that they are "For Distribution
Only with a New PC", and are all unsealed (were installed on the original
machine). They each include the original...

Returns to DABS by
chris beezer
My first order with DABS.COM. The goods were faulty on receipt. I
have informed them and am now waiting for an rma number. How long
should I expect to wait for the number and is there any benefit in
sending e-mails to hurry them along or might that slow things up even
more? (I have been waiting...

Hi
What's wrong at Dabs.com, I've been using them for a few years now with
absolutely no problem. Only last weekend I ordered a B grade stock Wacom

never came. I then received an email from Andrea Helme Customer...
