X1950XT w/ Zalman very hot by
Mandinga
I have a Sapphire X1950XT equipped with a Zalman VF-900 cooler. I was
playing Lost Planet and about 10 minutes later CCC kicked me out of the game
because of GPU's high temp (It showed a warning). I checked the temp with
ATI tools and the GPU temp was about 95C.
I've had the XT for about a year...

LITEON's dark secret? by
No Longer a LiteOn Customer
For a long while I thought one can never go wrong with purchasing
Lite-On products. That is why all the CD/DVD drives in my PCs are from
Lite-On (4 of them). So, it was only natural that when time came to
purchase a "consumer type" DVD player, I didn't think twice before
purchasing the Lite-On...

I read on some website that the capacitors in a PC's PSU can hold a

Is this really so? Surely that...

Bit of a historical question: MS-DOS by
Yousuf Khan[_2_]
I've been trying to remember this, and I honestly can't remember it
anymore. In MS-DOS, where were the standard external commands located?
The only thing I remember about MS-DOS was that the command.com was
located in the root directory (along with autoexec.bat, config.sys, and
the hidden files...

Only because it is relatively slow now, I want to replace a slick 2" x
18" x 18" PC Power and Cooling system called Sleekline that they made a
number of years ago. It mounts very nicely in the leg well of my wife's
desk.
What options do I have for a box that would sit below the desktop and
not...

It states 16g memory but it looks like it only has 1g but is...
