Arai - Returns Service - Awfull by
J
Ordering and delivery part of the business is great, they keep you well
well informed along the route, and a final email to say it's despatched,
just as it should be.
The returns service is I think shocking, I'm quite a patient guy so
realise it takes time but .....
Ordered on the 15th...

Arbico or Chillblast by
[email protected]
I am in the market for a new PC and had come to the decision that I
was going to buy Dell, but I know that I could get a much better spec
system from either Arbico or Chillblast for the same price. Has anyone
any experience of either of these two PC manufacturers especially in
the areas of system...

Are Aria reliable re. cancellations and refunds? by
Ian
Hi,
I ordered a monitor from Aria a fortnight ago which the stock levels
showed as "plenty in stock" but it never arrived. They charged my credit
card immediately but despite numerous emails (none replied to) and phone
calls they still couldn't give me an approximate delivery date so I
cancelled...

Are Belkin Still in Business? by
Jeff Gaines
I sent an email to on 5 January, a reminder on 5
February and then forwarded the email to on 17
February.
I have heard nothing from them. Since this was a pre-sales enquiry
(about a couple of UPS's) I guess the chances of after sales support
are...

Are Chillblast any good? by
Nick
In my epic search for my new P.C. I have come across Chillblast, They
seem to know their stuff, If I get some good feedback from here? It
may be the case that I will have to consider a supplier who are over
200 miles away!!! That would be o.k so long as I knew they were
amongst the best...

Are Computer Fairs all crap? by
Alec
For the first time in 10 years I've gone to a computer fair at a local
hotel. Had to pay £2.50 just to get in. I was pretty underwhelmed by what I
saw.
Stalls selling copied software (illegal surely?), secondhand parts wrenched
from old PCs and Macs, under-spec PCs with flashing coloured lights...

Are Dabs in breach of contract? by
TooFatToSurf
I ordered a Sony Vaio S1XP from the dabs.com website on 1st September.
It was described as used, and with all the bits. It was about £250 cheaper
than a new one.
On 8th September, I received an invoice by e-mail. They also debited my
credit card.
Next day, I get an e-mail saying that they are...

are ebuyer always as bad as this ? by

I have dealt with a fair few vendors and had my fair share of problems
occasionally which are either ok, irksome or annoying...
I have recently bought a few things from ebuyer without hassle so
decided to buy a gift for someone from them - I ordered with plenty of
time to deliver, 3 weeks. The...

Are TFT prices going up? by
[email protected]
I've been sort of half looking for a 17" TFT for a while, or even two.
A couple of months ago prices were nudging the £100 mark with several
around the £110 area.
I've just looked again and there doesn't seem to be anything down at
that price level. Am I looking in the wrong places or have...

Aria - advice re postage refund (dodgy practice) by
Mark
Hi all,
I am currently having a problem with Aria. I bought an mp3 player from them.
It was physically damaged when received. They have accepted the return, and
refunded the cost of the player. However, they are insisting that it is not
their policy to refund the postage which I originally paid to...

Aria - avoid like the plague! by
Hellraiser
Aria.co.uk - absolutely bloody useless.
Ordered some RAM from them back in early April, it never arrived. Emailed
them and after a week they said it had been sent via Royal Mail, therefore
I'd have to wait 15 working days until they could accept it had been lost in
the post. Fair enough, though...

Aria - Current Opinion? by
David Baxter
Hi group,
On a whim, I decided to upgrade my PC's case. Sell the old one to my
girlfriend as an upgrade for her, and treat myself to an Enermax CS-718.
None of my usual suppliers had any stock, so I looked on Enermax's
website for other resellers.
The only one who had stock was Aria (one...
