Anyone know what the cheapest Radeon retail box with a
Halflife 2 voucher is?
Thanks.
IIRC the only two that did it were the 9800XT and the 9600XT, coming in
at about £380 and £160 respectively.

Any feedback would be really useful, either as a response to this

Chill-tek suck by
Hellraiser
Do not use these people at www.chill-tek.com, over 2 weeks and counting so
far for one single item ordered for next day delivery - no sign of it on
Royal Mails Recorded Delivery track and trace (despite recorded not being a
next day service), after a week of hassling they said they'd send...

DABS early warniug by
[email protected]
Be warned that DABS can be economical with the truth when they talk
about delivery times.
They usually warn you that orders placed before 5 stand a chance of
reaching you the next day. But even that is not a promise.
On Wednesday evening, sometime around 6, I placed an order. It arrived
before...

Asus by
Mike Gasson
Anyone have any thoughts on Asus? I'm looking to buy an A6712U-LH
notebook. What is their backup like? I know I can get support if I buy
from Mesh, but I seem to remember there were some negative posts about
Mesh.

Anyone seen any retailers reacting to Intel's announcement last Sunday
of the P4 price drop?? Or any idea how long it usually takes for price
drops to filter down??? Need a P4 for a system build, but trying to
decide whether to wait a bit. Any advice appreciated.

Can anyone say please which is likely to be the more reliable make -
and if either has possible nasty maintenance problems...

Has ANYONE had good support from Novatech? by
David N
I have yet another problem with our Novatech (Mitac) laptop. It needs
to go back - agreed over the phone, but I was to phone back when all
data was backed up and to say if I needed them to send me any
packaging. Now I can't get in touch with them other than their rip-off
phone line. Only open...
