nVidia WMV HD Accelleration by
Jason Dunn
I have a system running Windows Media Center 2005 with an AMD 65 3500+ CPU.
Previously, it had an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro in it, and was capable of playing
WMV HD (1080p) video files without a problem. I upgraded the video card to a
GeForce 6600 with 256 MB RAM, this...

about to install 9800pro - which drivers? by
Rick Catton
Having long been a devotee of Nvidia I'm about to jump ship from a 4200 and
install the HIS IceQ 9800 Pro. Once I reset to standard VGA etc, what
drivers would you recommend using - those out of the box or from another
source? If another source, can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks...

BIOS required for nVidia TNT2 M64 by
Daniel Lam
Hello
Does anybody (still) have an nVidia TNT2 M64 card with 32 MB RAM and
no TV-out? If you do, and if your BIOS version is 3.05.00.10, would
you be willing to send me an image of your BIOS? Please check that
it's definitely a 32 MB card with no TV-out.
Regards
Daniel Lam

Nvidia problem by
kevin
Probably your video card doesn't work well with the game, better have
a look at the vender's website to see if there is new version of the
driver. Another idea comes to my mind is searching related
information about the game you played, if it's a hot one, very
possible that someone else has...

NV5 on 6800GT, core good...memory temperature? by
ChrisR
The arctic cooler NV5 silencer for my PNY 6800GT had a nasty gap between
the GPU and heatsink surface so I made up a 0.5 mm copper shim which
along with arctic silver 5 did the trick and bought the GPU temp down
from 60 deg to 50 deg idle. Thing is, I had to use quite a bit of the
supplied heat...

V7700ProDel ...Driver prob or something else? by
[email protected]
I have what I beleive to be the latest nvidia drivers
running XP and Linux (SuSE-9.0). Linux screen adjusted
to full size (Samsung 755df) & 1600x1200. XP was also
adjusted the same and both worked just fine, initially.
Now for some reason the XP screen has shrunk in size
and leaves about 3/4" to...

CPU vs GPU... by
Alex
Hi all,
I've been come across this somewhere, saying that when people couldn't get an expected performance boost after replacing their new GF card, then they should consider checking their CPU whether it's fast enough.
I suppose nowadays, all those new GPU are designed to take over most graphical...

Best Driver by
reggie2
Okay, so I'm not quite ready to purchase a new card, and my computer is not
the latest & greatest, but it works pretty well. However, I've been
upgrading the drivers of my NVIDIA GeForce 3 ti (64 mb), and have come to
the decision that the latest & greatest drivers may be a bit too much for
this...

Best Drivers For GF MX 400? by
Dan_Aykroyd
Hi!
As subject; which version do you think works better for this old card?
Because I read in some places that I always should keep them updated
to the latest; meanwhile some other people say that there is a
specific version for a card that works the best; because the newer are
unstable with older...

MSI FX5600-VTDR128 : 1.5 or 3.3V by
Keith Clark
Yes, I did search on Google first but didn't find anything obvious so I
thought I could get an answer here -
I just bought an Asus P4P800 Deluxe motherboard, and I want to buy a
FX5600-VTDR128 card to use with it. The manual says "1.5V AGP cards only".
Will the FX5600-VTDR128 work in this board?...
