Well,
I just received my deskstar 7k250 harddisk via the mail :)
It took 27 hours from ordering to delivery lol..
Amazing =D
I payed 91.47 euro's for it. I told the delivery boy to keep the last 3 euro
cents ;)

dimm I can buy.
I saw a list with brand-names on the Asus-site, but I cann"t find it
anymore.
Can someone outthere tell me where to find this list.

finally died....7 years old :P). However when installing Win2K it hangs or

My processor runs at around 60 deg. C. It runs win xp, which seems to freeze
up at random times under light load. Could this be a software issue or is my
pc too hot ?

Well
I think I am going to go for a Hitachi Deskstar 180GXP.
Sometimes my drive has to perform like a server... lot's of i/o like
installing software, virus scanning, starting up programs. Yeah.
My current deskstar 14 gxp has been through a lot these last 5 years I can
tell you ;)

The local store is moving lol.

I have two WD 36 GB Raptors that I want to set up as RAID 0. My motherboard
has two RAID controllers. One is the Intel ICH5R and the other is the
Promise PDC20378. Which is the prefered one to use? Any help or suggestion
