19" or 21" CRT Recommendations Please by
Dan
Hi,
Anyone care to recommend a good 19" or 21" CRT for use as my main monitor
with my Parhelia card. 18"+ LCD's still to pricy and the colour and quality
isn't as good as a CRT so only looking for CRT's at the moment (my other 2
monitors are LCD).
Cheers

PCI or AGP? by
AJ
With the new kid on the block being PCI-express, is
AGP soon to be not found on motherboards and therefor
is it unwise to invest in an AGP card? Is PCI the best
choice still for 2D (most compatible)?

Q: Is the Parhelia fan noisy? by
Synapse Syndrome
I need to get a new graphics card.
I am considering a mid range 3Dlabs VP or nVidia Quadro4 card, and I thought
I might as well give the Parhelia a look.
I need it for CAD and graphic design work as well as 3D rendering. Solid
OpenGL is essential.
How do you think the Parhelia measured up to...

Can I get dual DVI output on one card? by
Jonathan E
Hi
Probably a stupid question (I'm good at those!) but...
I'm thinking of buying two 17" TFTs for my PC. I'll need a new graphics card
which supports 2 monitors. All the ones I can find seem for have one
analogue VGA port and one 'digital' DVI port. I plan to get TFTs with DVI
inputs so would...

I have a WinXP (SP2) system and an Intel 865 motherboard. I'm running a
Matrox G450 (AGP) and a Matrox G450 (PCI) and am using 3 monitors, each set
to 32-bit color and 1024x768 resolution. According to the specifications on
these boards I should be able to set the vertical refresh rate to...

Two G450's in one system by
Bob Davis
I have a friend who wants to install a second G450 to her system and I've
located a PCI card for that purpose. The AGP dual-head she now has is not
compatible with the monitor-calibration device she uses and the manufacturer
is telling her a second video card will be required to use the device...

What card for 1600x1200 dual? by
Mister Max
I want to upgrade my graphics card from a Matrox G550, which doesn't
support the full native resolution of my new LCD monitor, and won't let
me adjust colors separately on two monitors. I don't use games or TV, so
I don't need 3D.

Monitors: Samsung 213T DVI LCD + Sony CRT

New videocard by
Ken
I want a new fast video card to my new PC (I build myself).
It's a Pentium 4 Northwood 3.2 MHz with 1024 MB ECC memory
(2x PC3200) on a ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard.
The OS is Windows 2000 now and later I change to Windows XP.
Matrox Millennium P750 looks to be a good choice, or?
I never play...

G450: both monitors flash by
[email protected]
I just bought a new (to me, I think) Matrox G450. I installed it in my
computer, plugged two monitors into it and started up the computer.
Both of my monitors started flashing and then eventually just went
black. The computer kept booting, but I couldn't see anything on the
screen.
I turned off...

Matrox G400 loses color, suggestion? by
[email protected]
I've got my G400 on the Dual Head Clone output to the TV and a few
weeks ago the display started losing colour after about 15-20 minutes,
running in black and white. The card used to run fine and I didn't
change any of its settings or any Win98 display settings, so I'm
wondering if it's time to...

Hello,
Just updating an older system to the Asus P4P800 with a P4 2.4C

I've search every where I can think of to confirm that this G450
Millennium from my old system is a 1.5 Volt AGP Card, and can not

remain same. Even XP supplied driver (5.1) crashes.
I been using G400 with Windows 2000 from long time and never had any
problem.

Also: 'video memory cache' now UC. (UC or USWC)

What gives? by
johns
Is Matrox going out of business or something? They
seem totally stuck regards development in line with
modern standards. I've used their cards in my CAD
labs for ages, but now, do they even have an 8x AGP
card? They are still pushing cards for $300 to $500
that ATI and NVidia are selling for $65 to...
