Options for poutting toegther a mp3 jukebox that can me controled remotely? by drumguy1384
There are a couple of options from Creative Labs that would suit what you want to do. There is an internal sound card option, and an external USB option. The internal option would be a SB Audigy or Audigy 2 Platinum. These include a front mounted interface with extra inputs as well as an infrared...

AMD cpu fairlure by missy
Test what? Both fans are working now. The PS is putting out correct power. The light on mobo is green. But nothing happens. No POST. I don't have a cpu to stick on the board. I don't want to buy one just to test it with. Unless the owner tells me they want to spend the money for a new cpu to...

HI I have ordered a new PC and have started to move some stuff onto CDs to take to the new PC. I have got all My Documents and save files for programs, and wanted to know what else I should keep. For example, how do I backup all of my Outlook Express settings? Is there a way to copy my messages?...

component recommendations by Han
Brand loyality doesn't mean much when it comes to computer components ("here today, gone tomorrow" in many cases), but I'm partial to Intel too. Price isn't a big deal so why not. "Boba & Ilinka" wrote in message ... "JK"...

Quick question.. can a 333fsb CPU work on 266 mobo? by The Slayer of NaySayers!
Hello, I have a gygabyte 7dxr mobo which is a 266 fsb. The highest it will accept a CPU is a Athlon XP 2600 CPU, but finding one that is 266 fsb is a bitch. I can only find 333fsb cpus at that speed. Thus the question.... Thanks! ---

Hi, I fried a Seagate 80GB drive a few weeks ago. I did a stupid thing and was connecting the power connector up when the PC was on, put the connector in the wrong way and, strange burning smell 5 seconds later, the drive was fried. So, is there anyway to recover the data on this drive. Is it...
