[comp.publish.cdrom] CD-Recordable FAQ -- pointer by
Andy McFadden
This is not the CD-Recordable Frequently Asked Questions posting, but
rather a pointer to it. I'm posting this because there may be propagation
problems with the FAQ (it's rather large for a Usenet posting), and some
sites have automatic filters that think it's spam. This is also going
out to...

CD-Rom burning problem (judder on playback) by
Mr Wood
Hi,
I have an Inspriron 6000 laptop with a Sony DVD+-RW DW-D56A.
The problem is that whenever I record anything to CD-Rom I get a
juddering effect on playback, this is the same for both music files and
..avi or movie files. I have tried using several different types of
CD-Rom with no luck at all...

Bruning with Itunes by
[email protected]
Are there any odd issues I should be aware of using Itunes to burn CDs
or DVDs? I've used on past machines but Itunes is fairly convenient.
I'm most interested in both the quality of data backups and the
management process of burning thousands of MP3s. Then I'm interested in
the playability of CDs...

There should be a light version of Nero Burning Rom. by
[email protected]
I have a CD-RW. I backup files to CDs and sometimes create audio CDs. I
think most people are just like me. Recently, Nero 7 is released. The
setup file (demo) size is over 100MB and even though I chose "Custom
setup" and selected only Nero Burning Rom and Tools, it coonsumes
almost 100MB of disk...

Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning by
Mike Schumann
Does anyone have any more detailed info on this product? I see that it is
for sale at Best Buy, etc., but the Roxio web site has no mention of it.
In particular, does this include the DirectCD or Drag and Drop software
features for writing to UDF formated CDs?
Thanks,
